Gaierhof
is a small, family-owned winery located in the Trentino-Alto Adige
growing region of northern Italy. This area is characterized by its cold
climate and tends to suit the growing of the Moscato grape just perfectly.
The unique thing about Moscato Giallo is that while it is sweet and pairs
beautifully with desserts, it is not bubbly, or “frizzante”, as
the Italians would say – meaning small bubbles. It is a “still” wine,
like a typical table wine made to be refreshing, sweet and nicely balanced.
Match Moscato Giallo with Crème Brule, fruit tart and other
