Rogue River Valley
Trium
Trium [pronounced TREE-um] is Latin for “of the three.” The three refers to the families involved in this winery venture calles Trium located in the Rogue Valley Appellation of southern Oregon. All three families have been grape growers for many years and one simple fact is unanimous: great wine is made in the vineyard! All the Trium partners farm their vineyards using eco-friendly practices and belong to LIVE Inc. (Low Input Viticulture and Enology), a sustainable agricultural program. Making the wine is Peter Rosback of Sinnean fame who has known the Trium people for some time having purchased fruit from them over the years.  Two wines from estate grown fruit are being made by Peter - a classic Bordeaux blend, offering layers of ripe, complex fruit with gorgeous Old World elegance and structure, and a Pheasant Hill Vineyard Pinot Gris tasting of honeyed pear and displaying characters of Alsatian style.
